Long Gong Match

Match Begins: 11:00Long Gong is the latest 22lr, 300 yard shooting challenge for all ages. It takes a minute to learn but a lifetime to master! The rules are simple. Any 22 rifle can be used on a bipod and a rear bag. From the bench, shooters fire 5 rounds of 10 shots at an 8 inch, a 6 inch or a 4 inch gong at 300 yards. Each round has a 3 minute time limit. 50 shots total. The format is hit to progress. If you miss, you go back one gong size. The 8 inch is worth one point, the 6 inch, 2 points and the 4 inch, 3 points. Whoever scores the most points is the winner.Saturday, August 23rd 10:30 am at the 300 yard range to have a go! You will need a 22lr rifle, bipod, rear bag, ammo and a scope that you can adjust out to 300 yards. Typical dope is up 40 to 50 MOA (from a 50 yard zero) depending on ammo.Bring a chair to watch as other shooters give it a try.
